Four studies in excess, disorder and aftermath.

Luxury decays.

Lixo presents Ecstatic Collapse — a four-part release suspended between the ceremonial and the industrial.

About the EP

Ecstatic Collapse is a four-part study in excess, disorder and aftermath. Inspired by the prints of William Hogarth, the EP draws a line from Georgian London’s “Mother’s Ruin” to contemporary intoxication and social decay. Its four tracks unfold like a series of engravings, moving from luxury and shame towards a mind in freefall. Arpeggiated synthesis pairs the digital with the organic, punctuating the descent with moments of ecstatic joy. “Confusion Worse Confounded” places ruin upon ruin. London persists: seductive, grotesque and perpetually on the brink.
